The CrossGlide runs a 40cm stride, which is long enough for most adults to move naturally rather than shuffle. Sixteen magnetic resistance levels adjust from the console, and the 9kg flywheel keeps the motion even at the top of each stroke. Your feet never leave the pedals, so nothing jars through the knees.
Twelve programs cover intervals, hills and steady work, with grip sensors in the fixed bars for heart rate. It is 155cm long and 55kg, so this is not a machine you fold away — though the transport wheels will move it across a room. In the box: main frame, arms, pedals, console, tools and manual.
