Each dumbbell replaces fifteen fixed pairs. Twist the dial to the number you want, lift it out of the cradle and only that weight comes with you. The steps are 1.5kg, which is small enough for honest progression on presses and curls rather than 5kg jumps you cannot make.

The handle is 32mm knurled steel with a locking collar that will not release under load. Plates are steel with a rubber edge, so the ends are quiet on the floor and kind to the paint. In the box: two dumbbells, two cradles and the manual. No assembly.
